when I was pregnant with my second daughter. I got it in my head that I was going to make this yet-to-be bundle a baby quilt. no one i knew quilted. i had zero fond childhood memories of summer picnics on sweet hand-stitched gems from grannie. but that magic, that feel of wrapping something precious in something held together with thread and love and warm, soft cotton, that's what i wanted. what started as a simple 9-patch soon transformed into quilting expos, bringing home Fern (my 22" Innova longarm), training, and so much practice i saw stitches in my sleep. whether you're making something for a yet-to-be bundle, a surprise for a beloved friend, or just can't stand looking at an orphaned top any longer, i'd be happy to share my talent & turn your top into something magic.
